Paper Title
Facial Expression Recognition Based on Artificial Intelligence: Systematic Review

Abstract
The recognition of facial emotions through artificial intelligence has gained relevance due to its applicability in mental health, virtual education, psychology, marketing, and security, as it interprets gestures that reflect emotional states. The purpose of this work is to analyze the advancements in various techniques and models implemented; evaluating their accuracy, datasets used, and ethical challenges. To conduct the analysis, a systematic review of the last five years in recognized databases was chosen, emphasizing works on facial expression recognition using Machine Learning and Deep Learning. It was concluded that current models achieve high levels of accuracy; however, they face limitations in real-world environments and cultural diversity, necessitating the development of more inclusive, ethical, and robust solutions.
