Paper Title
Future of Smart Manufacturing: Trends, Innovations and Challenges

Abstract
Industry world is undergoing fundamental transformations with the advent of Industry 5.0, centred on the marriage of intelligent technologies with human-driven, sustainable, and flexible systems. The present paper involves a comprehensive overview of the application of the Internet of Things (IoT) towards enabling smart manufacturing in the backdrop of Industry 5.0. Smart manufacturing combines emerging technologies such as smartsensors and actuators, mobile devices, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and real-time communication systems in order to achieve automation, monitoring, and decision-making based on data throughout the life cycle of production. In this research, the architecture, implementation standards, and enabling technologies driving the transition towards intelligent, adaptive, and collaborative production settings are explored. Case studies are analysed to illustrate the real-world application of IoT in intelligent manufacturing processes, such as predictive maintenance, real-time monitoring, and cyber-physical system control. Convergence of digital and physical systems is also addressed, following the evolution from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0. By present trends and relevant knowledge, the book provides a foundation for understanding the revolutionary impact of smart manufacturing and how it is in sync with future industrial ambition
