Paper Title
Creating Measurement for New Entrepreneurship Students under the Institute of Vocational Education Northeastern Region 3

Abstract
The objective of this research was to study the components and indicators of new entrepreneurial characteristics among students under the Northeastern Vocational Education Institute Region 3. The sample consisted of 450 higher vocational certificate students selected through multi-stage sampling. The research instrument was a measurement scale for new entrepreneurial characteristics tailored to the context of students in the Northeastern Vocational Education Institute Region 3. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics including mean, standard deviation, skewness, kurtosis, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and exploratory factor analysis (EFA). The findings of this study are presented in two parts: Part 1: The characteristics and indicators of new entrepreneurship were synthesized from related literature, research, and in-depth interviews with successful entrepreneurs, educational administrators, and instructors. The result revealed 9 entrepreneurial dimensions comprising 17 sub-indicators. Part 2: The exploratory factor analysis was conducted using a 5-point Likert scale instrument containing 41 items across the 9 dimensions. Item discrimination was assessed using item-total correlation, with all items showing a correlation coefficient greater than 0.2. The overall reliability of the instrument, calculated using Cronbach’s alpha, was 0.971, indicating a high level of internal consistency. The KMO measure was .762, suggesting that the data were highly suitable for factor analysis, and Bartlett’s Test of Sphericity yielded a significance value of .000, indicating adequate intercorrelations among variables. The EFA using the Principal Component Analysis with orthogonal (Varimax) rotation extracted 8 components with eigenvalues greater than 1 and factor loadings above 0.3, with each factor containing at least 3 items. A total of 30 sub-indicators were retained, accounting for 61.26% of the total variance. Keywords - Entrepreneurial Components of Students, Entrepreneurship Measurement Scale.
