Visualization Analysis of “Education Poverty Alleviation” Research Based on LDA Model and Cite Space

Abstract
Education is a fundamental strategy to interrupt the intergenerational transmission of poverty. “Education poverty alleviation” is a widely discussed topic in the academic circle, and research on it has gone through three stages: slow start, stable development and deepening exploration. The research mainly covered the connotation, target, method, value and so on. For further exploring characteristics of “education poverty alleviation”, this study used LDA model and CiteSpace to analyze information of 580 CSSCI papers. Results show: (1) Benefit by the “Poverty Alleviation” national strategy, the number of research papers has surged since 2016. (2) Research focus has shifted from grand topics, such as “poverty-stricken areas” and “rural areas” to more specific topics, such as “precision poverty alleviation” and “relative poverty”. (3) Scholars have prioritized education poverty alleviation in rural areas, demonstrating their emphasis on rural education. (4) Promoting the process of education poverty alleviation requires joint efforts, uniting all forces in society and unleashing all the power of the education front.
