Paper Title
OPTIMIZING SUSTAINABLE SUPPLIER SELECTION THROUGH FUZZY MCDM APPROACHES
Abstract
This study enhances sustainability in the food industry by implementing Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) through green supplier selection. We applied Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods—Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) and Fuzzy Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution (FTOPSIS)—to evaluate suppliers on environmental criteria such as eco-design, green packaging, and environmental management systems (EMS). Using a simulated dataset, we identified top-performing suppliers, with results showing FAHP and FTOPSIS effectively manage uncertainty in supplier selection. This approach provides a practical framework for sustainable decision-making in the food industry.
