Paper Title
HEAT TRANSFER FLUID OPTIMIZATION BY NANOPARTICLES IN HEAT EXCHANGERS

Abstract
Abstract - In this paper a numerical investigation was made on micro heat exchanger using different nanofluids and study their thermal impact especially on the convection heat transfer coefficient and the Nusselt number. Four types of nanoparticles considered for this work e.g. copper (Cu), aluminum (Al), Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and copper oxide (CuO) combined with the water as a base fluid. The nanoparticle kind and its concentration primarily affect values of the density, the conductivity, the viscosity and the heat capacity. With the aim to enhance the effectiveness of a tubular heat exchanger, the replacement of basic fluid by an enriched nanofluid can be achieve the efficiency of the heat transfer process. The obtained results prove to be summarized as follows the addition a nanoparticles improve heat transfer but not necessarily, the type of heat exchanger and nanoparticle both play an effective role in the degree of improvement. The Nusselt number can increase more than three times by changing the concentrations (0.025-0.5%) dispersed in the water being applied.
