Paper Title
PREPARATION OF HYDROCORTISONE MINI TABLETS USING DIRECT POWDER MICROEXTRUSION

Abstract
Abstract - Three-dimensional (3D) printing, also known as additive manufacturing, refers to a variety of manufacturing techniques based on the digitally controlled layer-by-layer deposition of materials to create a variety of printlet geometries. In contrast to traditional manufacturing methods, 3D printing technologies offer a unique and important opportunity for the fabrication of personalized pharmaceutical dosage forms, which is critical in meeting the diverse medical needs of patients and especially the patients in the pediatric population. This paper demonstrates, the design and optimization of 2.5 and 5 mg modified release hydrocortisone mini-tablets for the pediatric patients using direct powder microextrusionfor the processing Gelucire® 44/14 and Precirol® ATO 5,blends at various ratios.
