Paper Title
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF MIMO ANTENNA AT 28 GHZ FOR 5G COMMUNICATION

Abstract
Abstract - In this paper, we describe the performance evaluation of a dual patch antenna operating at 28 GHz with different orientations for 5G communication. The design process begins with a basic patch antenna at 28 GHz with different orientations for 5G communication. The design process begins with a basic patch antenna at 28 GHz, and the impedance bandwidth is enhanced by etching a circular slot on the radiating patch. Subsequently, a single patch antenna is transformed to a dual patch antenna with a minimum distance of λ/2 is maintained to improve the isolation between the two antennas. Then, a comparison of different orientations is performed for dual patch antenna with antenna parameters like return loss, radiation pattern, and gain of an antenna. From the results, the perpendicular orientation provides the best value for S21=-25.5 dB and a gain of 6.29 dB. This compact dual patch antenna with improved isolation and good gain finds the best application in 5G communication Keywords - 5G Communication, MIMO antenna, 28 GHz, Dual Patch, Isolation
