Paper Title
THE IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE ON FUTURE PRECIPITATIONS IN THE ZHUOSHUI CREEK WATERSHED UNDER VARIOUS MITIGATION SCENARIOS

Abstract
Abstract - The impact of climate change on future precipitation changes in the Zhuoshui Creek Watershed in Taiwan are investigated. Data from 5 GCMS are utilized to analyzed theprecipitation changes for the 67 weather stations within the area. The results show that, under severe RCP scenarios (RCP6.0 and RCP8.5), the Zhuoshui Creek Watershed will present a precipitation distribution pattern with drier dry seasons and wetter rainy seasons under the influence of climate change in the future, which will inevitably cause future water supply and flooding problems in the area. The extent of the impact depends on the effectiveness of efforts to mitigate global warming. Keywords - Climate Change, Precipitation, RCP Scenarios, Drought.
