Paper Title
TECHNICAL-ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF A SOLAR WATER PUMP IN SAM RATULANGI UNIVERSITY

Abstract
Abstract - Solar water pumps have gained significant attention as a sustainable and cost-effective solution for water pumping in small-scale applications. This study aims to design the solar water pumps in small-scale settings that can be implemented in a laboratorium of Sam Ratulangi University. The study covers various aspects, including the technical considerations, financial analysis and the analysis about its benefit as well as recommendations of solar water pumps in small-scale applications. Based on the HOMER simulation, the comparison between solar water pump and diesel power water pump is analyzed in term of net present cost, cost of energy (COE) and the emission to supply the water requirement in the laboratory. The plan of solar water pump can be a show case for promoting solar energy utilization as well as education for the students in Sam Ratulangi university of Indonesia.
