Paper Title
Growth Performance, Histopathological, and Blood Analysis of Colored Broiler Chicken Fed with Longevity Spinach

Abstract
The general objective of this study was to evaluate the response of colored broiler chicken on the diet containing Gynura procumbens leaf meal. The birds were randomly distributed into five (5) treatments, replicated thrice with ten broilers per replication. The experimental treatments were as follows: Treatment 1 - Home-mixed ration without G. procumbens leaf meal. Treatment 2- Home-mixed feeds with 3% G. procumbens leaf meal; Treatment 3-Home-mixed feeds with 6% G. procumbens leaf meal; Treatment 4- Home-mixed feeds with 9% G. procumbens leaf meal, Treatment 5-Home-mixed feeds with 12% G. procumbens leaf meal. Fresh G. procumbens leaves were collected in Bayombong. The leaves were air-dried and pounded to a powder form. The G. procumbens powder was mixed with other feed ingredients for a home-mixed ration appropriate for the broilers. From the start-up to the sixth week of the study, the body weight of the broilers was comparable to each other. However, in the seventh and eighth weeks of the study, highly significant differences were noted. Broilers given T3 showed the greatest among treatments. A significant result was obtained on the total gain in weight of the broilers and cholesterol level. Insignificant differences were found in the rate of growth, feed conversion ratio and efficiency, dressing percentage, liver, and pancreas weights, and the percent cut-up parts, protein level hemoglobin, pack cell volume white blood cell, and histopathological analysis of the villi of the broilers. The use of G. procumbens with an inclusion rate of 6% in a formulated ratio influenced body weight and gain in weight of the broiler chickens with a higher net return. However, more research should be undertaken to unlock the potential of G. procumbens as feeds for poultry and livestock. Likewise, there is a need to find out if there is a deleterious effect on the end product's taste, tenderness, palatability, and overall acceptability of poultry meat.
