Paper Title
Proposal for the Optimization of Polar Codes in the Cooperative System

Abstract
Technologies, such as multi-antenna transmission or MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) today make it possible to increase the bandwidth in number of bits per second per hertz (bit rate) thanks to spatial multiplexing, and improve reliability ( and the range) of the wireless link by exploiting the spatial diversity and directivity of the antennas (beamforming). However, the use of several antennas for each mobile terminal is not at all practical given the limitation in equipment (size of the mobiles) and the allocation of frequency bands to users also constitutes a constraint due to historical questions of regulations, fading the wireless channel. In addition, the cost of designing such devices would be more expensive. This article proposes the use of the technique of cooperative systems in wireless communication. To improve the performance of the transmission in the wireless links we propose to place a relay DF (Decode and Forward) between the transmitter and the receiver, using the polar codes at the level of the relay. The other innovations of this thesis are the introduction of cooperation by several relays and the optimization in the selection of relays to improve the efficiency of the cooperative system by also using the polar codes at the level of each relay. Our method achieves remarkable efficiency in terms of BER compared to some previous work. Keywords - Decode-and-forward, Polar Codes, Wireless Cooperative System.
