DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transform) – DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) Domain based on CRT, Watermarking Techniques for Improved Jpeg Compression Robustness for Digital Forensic

Abstract
Digital image watermarking technology for protecting copyright of multimedia contents has been studied these days. We embed watermark image produced with user’s information in digital image to track illegal distribution path. We proposed a method that retains JPEG compression robustness by using DWT-DCT and obtain security by embedding watermark using CRT. Proposed method embeds watermark bit in the DC coefficient of the LH sub band after DWT using the inverse CRT. Our experimental results show that the proposed method is more robust for JPEG compression as the NCC values of the proposed method are higher than other existing methods.
