E-book in Smartphone About Learning Skill, How Student Opinions?

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to see the opinions of students about the use of e-books on smartphones and opinions about the content of the Learning Skills book. Achieving this goal will benefit the development of other books that will be made so that they are more compatible, and it can also be known how the mastery of the content that occurs, it will become the basis for making the next book content. Included in this case is the appearance of books in pictorial style or just writing like current journals. The study was conducted qualitatively with pre and posttest designs, pre before reading e-books and post after being given the opportunity to read e-books on smartphones for 1 week, in 10 first semester students with systematic random sampling of 28 people in 1 class. Data collection with a questionnaire containing responses to e-books on smartphones and book content Learning skills, results were compared, and analyzed by triangulation. The questionnaire consisted of 7 choices, with content consisting of 6 groups with 19 types of skills. It is also compared to content in reading books in hard copy, from other classes, so that they will broaden comparative insights.The decrease in percentage did not know that it occurred in e-books from 13% to 2%, whereas in hard copy books from 33% to 11%, it showed a different starting point, e-book users from the beginning were better; also shows that the use of e-books on smartphones is more practical and can be read anytime and anywhere. The percentage of not knowing what is happening is due to tele-education and unknown career paths. Responses with Proven options are useful for e-books from 33% to 36%, in hardcopy from 3% to 8%, only a slight increase is likely not finished reading. The use of e-books is more interesting than hard copy, the mastery of material from not knowing to knowing turns out to be the same because tele-education and career paths are known.
