Changes in The Qt Interval/Dispersion and T-Wave-Peak to T-Wave-End Interval/Dispersion After Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty

Abstract
QT dispersion (QTd) on electrocardiography, which is a measure of inhomogeneity of myocardial repolarization, increases following impaired myocardial perfusion. Its prolongation may provide a suitable substrate for life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias. We investigated the changes in QTd and T-wave-peak to T-wave-end dispersion parameters after successful coronary artery revascularization and angioplasty in coronary artery disease patients with chronic total occlusions (CTO).
