Abstract
Higher education institution competes for better student body and student satisfaction is considered to be a key element in attracting good students. The administration, faculty and staff at Forman Christian College (FCC) works hard to give students the best campus life experience; many services and programs have been developed throughout these years. It is highly desirable for the administration to know what areas of satisfaction contribute in increasing the student satisfaction in the university. This information would help the university to market itself in a better way and aid the administration in designing strategic and sustainable plans in order to improve the overall satisfaction. The study was conducted with Baccalaureate students of Forman Christian College (A Chartered University). A five-year baccalaureate survey data has been considered in order to find the relationship between university services, pedagogy and campus environment and overall satisfaction. 2,184 baccalaureate students were surveyed, and linear regression analysis was performed to find the relationship between university services, pedagogy and campus environment with overall satisfaction. After performing the data analysis it was discovered that satisfaction with course content, skills development, financial support, student services and activities, and campus environment contribute more in increasing overall satisfaction and other factors such as satisfaction with faculty, administration and facilities on campus contribute less in increasing overall satisfaction. However, every factor has positive relation with overall satisfaction. Few suggestions were also made by the author to the administration of Forman Christian College which can help the administration put maximum resource(s) to improve campus experience and services. Keywords- Student Satisfaction, Student Services, Satisfaction with Pedagogy, Campus Environment.
