Paper Title
Preparation and Characterization of Peg-Modified Alpha-Fe2o3/Pva Nanofiber Nanocomposite Mats

Abstract
Inthis study α-Fe2O3 weresynthesized from ferric nitrate (Fe(NO3)3) by complete thermal decomposition. The surfaces of α-Fe2O3particles were modified with Poly-ethylene glycol (PEG) in order to prevent agglomeration. α-Fe2O3 were distributed in PVA Poly-vinyl alcohol (PVA) which was used as the main matrix of the mat. Prepared modified α-Fe2O3/PVA composite solution was electrospun into nanofiber nanocomposite mats. Another nanofibrous mat consisting only 10% aqueous PVA solution was also prepared to be used as the control group for characterization purposes. Characterization was proceeded by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and X-Ray diffraction analyses (XRD).
