Abstract
Organization change is widely recognized as one of the most critical and essential factors contributing to organizational innovation, competitiveness, and survival, as it enables organizations to respond to changing market conditions and take advantage of emerging market opportunities. Despite its widely accepted implications, it is not very easy to be successful in organizational change and innovation. This study distinguishes between organizational changes pertaining to process and product innovation. The results of a survey-based study show interesting patterns regarding the strategic and tactical mechanisms underlying the success of organizational change and innovation.
