Optimization Of Batik Fashion Based Cultural Heritage As A Competitive Advantage In Anticipating Asean Economic Community (AEC) 2015

Abstract
Asean Economic Community (AEC) will be a new father ASEAN regional economic liberalization. AEC will be the efforts to establish a single market and production base that frees (1) the goods; (2) the current services; (3) the investment; (4) the capital; and (5) the current workforce. While developed countries in ASEAN crisis human resources and limitation of the population to move the economy, Indonesia began to have a demographic bonus as well as a wide range of goods or services produced by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). Therefore, it is time for Indonesia to rise up and take advantage of the opportunities available. Creative industries have considerable economic potential. In some countries, the digital creative industry revenue is even larger than the manufacturing sector. Creative industries can contribute to the state revenue due to strong government role in industrial development. Indonesia has a unique cultural heritage and diverse, some of Indonesian culture that has been worldwide include batik, angklung, wayang, keris, and saman dance. One of the potential cultural creative industries is batik. The international community has recognized batik as an Indonesian cultural heritage. In this case batik is believed to be superior products Indonesia and as a source of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) sustainable. The recommendations of this paper are (1) the central government areas more focused to improve UMKM sector in the field of creative industry, especially batik fashion sector to be a strong sector so that it can include a larger market and compete among ASEAN countries; (2) creating regulation and increasing budget allocation in favor of the creative industries to improve the quality of human resources, science and technology development and the market in ASEAN; (3) Improving the quality of infrastructure and public and private participation in the implementation of batik fashion-based cultural heritage as a competitive advantage and to anticipate the era of trade liberalization AEC 2015.
