Quality Assurance System In Vocational Education And Training

Abstract
The concept of Quality Assurance System of Vocational and Technical Education and Training has become more significant and challenging for both educators and industries. In fact, key figures, particularly in developing countries, eager to maintain high standard of vocational and technical graduates. Quality Assurance System in Vocational and Technical Education and Training would ensure that graduates acquire the level of knowledge, skills and attitudes that both business and industries expected. Such demand would expect to continue to increase to meet the rapid change in the world of science and technology. The development of an appropriate curriculum, upgrading the standard of workshops and laboratories, enhancing industrial collaboration are some of the main components of Quality Assurance System. The objective of this paper is to highlight the importance of the concept of Quality Assurance System in Vocational and Technical Education and Training. The management strategies and objectives, management style, the degree of collaboration with related industries, research and development, teaching methods, the standard of workshops and laboratories, and criteria's for assessing the quality of vocational and technical graduates are some of the main components of the Quality Assurance System. The paper would then conclude that the success of the Quality Assurance System would depend, to great extent, on the sincere and serious participation of both members in vocational education and related industries.
