Abstract
The paper proposes to examine the growing disparities of on line retail shopping and consumer satisfaction, it attempts to understand the discontentment of online consumers who are reluctant to pursue future online retail shopping advising other consumers to restrain from online shopping. The paper examines that this consequently can lead to a boycott situation of online shopping by vast segment of consumers .During recent years on line web portals offering generous discounts have substantially increased their presence which have been opposed by offline retail stores and the original manufacturers who have resented and unauthorized the product discount validity offered by online retailers along with other product services. The local dealers and offline stores already suffer from huge competition of local area stores coupled with incessant infrastructure bottleneck composing arduous situations for traditional stores offline to counter burgeoning competition from online stores too The paper presents some of the issues related to growing perils of online retail and that whether this can lead to a consumer boycott has been attempted to be studied.
