Paper Title
THE DUAL EFFECT OF NARCISSISTIC LEADERSHIP: DEFENSIVE SILENCE AND EMPLOYEES RESILIENCE AS MODERATORS

Abstract
Based on the Resource Conservation Theory, this study investigates the relationship between "narcissistic leadership and counterproductivity work behaviors" and "narcissistic leadership and task performance", as well as the mediating mechanism of "defensive silence on narcissistic leadership and counterproductivity work behaviors" and "employee resilience on narcissistic leadership and task performance".The results of this study are expected to show that the higher the level of employees' awareness of their supervisors' narcissistic leadership, the higher the level of their counterproductive work behaviors. At the same time, the higher the level of perceived narcissistic leadership, the higher the level of task performance. In addition, employee defensive silence mediates the positive relationship between employees' awareness of their supervisor's narcissistic leadership and their counterproductive work behaviors, and employee resilience mediates the positive relationship between employees' awareness of their supervisor's narcissistic leadership and their task performance.
