SITUATIONS AND HIGH RISK FACTORS FOR SMOKINGIN WORKING-AGED

Abstract
Abstract - This Cross-sectional study was aimed to examine the risk factors with smoking among 1,020 people in Muang Sakon Nakhon District, Sakon Nakhon Province, Thailand during June 2022 and April 2023. Data were collected byquestionnaire, analyzed by descriptive statistics,and Multiple logistic regression (ORMH, 95%CI). The results found that most of the samples were female 73.14%, 35 – 60 years old (average age 54.80 ± 13.122 years), primary education 66.96%, farmers 60.98%, income 832.64 – 2,775.46 USDper month(average income 1941.61 ± 1954.59 USD). In addition, they were smoking55.00%, cigarettes and electronic cigarettes 78.00%, alcohol drinking48.24%, and congenital disease 28.04%. The risk factors for smoking among working-agedwere gender, members of family, and alcohol drinking (p<.0001). Keywords - Cigarettes, Smoking, Rick Factors, Working-Aged
