Paper Title
DO STUDENTS OF DIFFERENT MAJORS HAVE THE SAME LEVEL OF ANXIETY WHEN COMMUNICATING ACROSS CULTURES?

Abstract
Abstract - Regarding intercultural communication, especially for people whose native language is not English, using English (L2) can be an important barrier for some of them. Moreover, intercultural communication apprehension (ICA) may also impede the fluency and communication effectiveness. As a result, this study investigated whether students of different levels and disciplines have different ICA or not by using ANOVA to compare ICA of students from three different types of university students in a public university in Bangkok. The results indicated that bachelor’s degree students majoring in business administration hold higher ICA than MA students majoring in English language and higher than MA students majoring in political science.
