ANALYSIS OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE AND LOGISTIC PROCESSES OF THE POSTGRADUATE AND CONTINUING EDUCATION DEPARTMENT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CROSS-SERVICE MODEL IN A HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION

Abstract
Abstract - Continuing education is a critical aspect of the academic and professional formation of university students, and its proper administration and logistics are essential to ensure the quality of the educational experience and institutional efficiency. In this regard, qualitative research was conducted using a descriptive and exploratory approach, evaluating the current practices of a university, collecting opinions from process leaders, and validating the findings with relevant stakeholders. The research results indicate significant challenges in the administration and logistics of continuing education programs at the higher educational institute, and a transversal services model is proposed as an effective solution. Based on the research findings, a transversal services model is proposed, encompassing the optimization of administrative and logistics processes, the implementation of innovative technologies, and the training of personnel in relevant competencies. Additionally, a concrete implementation plan for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the administrative and logistics processes in the continuing education area and ensuring a quality educational experience for students is presented. The proposed transversal services model serves as a valuable tool for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative and logistics processes in the continuing education area at the higher educational institute.
