A MULTIMODAL IMPROVED DYNAMIC PARTICLES WARM OPTIMIZATION FOR PROBLEMS IN ELECTROMAGNETIC DEVICES

Abstract
Abstract - A stochastic optimal search algorithm called particle swarm optimization was developed in response to observations of bird and fish flocks and schools. To support the diversity of the swarm and maintain the balance between exploitation and exploration searches, the suggested modified PSO algorithm is implemented with several specially built techniques of dynamically adaptively updating algorithm parameters. The suggested approaches assist the algorithm in strengthening its robustness and preventing premature convergence. Experiments are carried out on various complex, unimodal, and multimodal test functions specifically on the common engineering inverse TEAM Workshop problem 22. Keywords - Dynamic PSO, Low Convergence, Dynamic Inertia Weight, Electromagnetic Problems.
