Paper Title
Synthesis of Quercitrin Nanoemulsion and Its Activity As Antioxidant

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to synthesize quercitrin nanoemulsion and test its activity as an antioxidant.Synthesis of nanoemulsion was carried out by the addition of surfactants, oils, and phosphate buffer pH 7.0 in various variations of the composition. Nanoemulsion characterization was carried out using particle size, zeta potential, and stability. The antioxidant activity test was carried out using the DPPH method. The results showed that quercitrin nanoemulsion can be synthesized using tween 80 as surfactant, oil (olive oil or VCO (virgin coconut oil), and phosphate buffer pH 7.0 as a water phase, having a particle size of <100 nm. Quercitrin nanoemulsion using VCO oil showed better stability than using olive oil. Quercitrin nanoemulsions are easily soluble in water and exhibit very high antioxidant activity such as original quercitrin. Keywords – Antioxidant, Dendrophthoe Falcata, Nanoemulsion, Quercitrin
