Paper Title
Development of a Biodegradable Encapsulating Composition Based on Polyvinyl Alcohol and Gelatine

Abstract
The work was carried out in order to select the optimal capsule composition of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and gelatin, in combination with the fungicides "maxim" and "cruiser" to obtain a polymer coating of sunflower seeds. The optimal concentrations and ratios of gelatin with PVA, as well as their combination with fungicides, were determined. The strength characteristics, water solubility of the obtained polymer composites, and the effect of the encapsulating composition on the germination and formation of sunflower were studied. Germination of seeds, growth and development of sunflower in laboratory and field conditions were determined. A phytosanitary study of encapsulated seeds was carried out. Phenological and biometric indicators of sunflower in the field wereobtained. Keywords - Encapsulating Composition, PVA, Gelatin, Sunflower Seeds, Germination, Biodegradability, Biometric Indicators.
