Mobile Learning: A Sine Qua Non in Language Learning and Technology-Driven Education Process

Abstract
The paper x-rays the mobile technological advancement and rapidly evolving new innovations in mobile device and its applications that necessitate mobile learning. It further takes a cursory look at the benefits and limitations of mobile learning (i.e. those factors that are discouraging and the ones promoting mobile learning). The factors result from the findings and quantitative analysis of the case study of MALL- Iranian computer-assisted language learning (CALL) application that explored the use of mobile devices for learning different aspects of English as a foreign language (EFL).
