Paper Title
The Inhibition Effect of Metroxylon Sago Rottb. Fruit Juice on the Corrosion of Mild Steel in Sodium Chloride 3.5% Solution

Abstract
The inhibiting action of Metroxylon sago rottb fruit juice has been investigated on mild steel in sodium chloride 3.5% solution using weight loss measurements method. The effect of concentration and immersion time were investigated. The mechanisms of corrosion inhibition were determined by adsorption mechanism. Results revealed that Metroxylon sago rottb fruit juice was an effective corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in sodium chloride 3.5% solution. The corrosion rate decrease with the increase of concentration. The inhibition efficiency was increased with concentration. The highest inhibition efficiency is 86.32% at 2.5% concentration. The mechanism of inhibition follows the Langmuir's adsorption isotherm. Keywords - Metroxylon Sago Rottb, Fruit, Juice, Corrosion Inhibitor, Mild Steel
