Perception of Industry 4.0 on the Internet

Abstract
Industry 4.0 is a term with vague definition but is increasingly popular in manufacturing sector. This study shows what is the popular definition of the Industry 4.0 on the Internet and if there is a difference between notions of „Industry 4.0“ and „4th industrial revolution“. Used method is content analysis, used material comes from national strategies, company prospects, academic papers and books. The result compiles observed patterns into two definitions, a broad one and a narrow one. Keywords - Industry 4.0, 4th Industrial Revolution, Internet, modern technologies
