Paper Title
Automatic Control Development Of 30 Mm Machine Gun Using Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR)

Abstract
The stability of the weapon system, while firing on the move is significant. Also, it is challenged for the weapon development to lock and track the target, while shooting. This paper then demonstrated the control system design and analysis of 30 mm machine gun. Since the machine gun is operated using both manual and automatic tracking control systems, machine gun system then includes multiple sensors and output hard wares. The Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) was applied to automatic control of 30 mm Machine Gun. The LQR and Estimator were adapted to solve the nonlinear of mathematical models used to control the tracking mode of the 30 mm machine gun. The simulation results showed the excellent stability of controller system. Keywords - 30 mm Machine Gun, Linear Quadratic Regulation (LQR), Estimator, Tracking Control.
