Paper Title
Caveats of Information Technology in Health Informatics

Abstract
In this paper we examine the influencers and key factors that either impede or augment the implementation and change management process during deployment of health care IT Systems. The goal is to examine and analyze the existing state of information regarding implementation process of health care IT systems and management of change during the rollout. Our findings suggest that influencing change management factors can be classified under two major dimensions i.e. social and technical. While acknowledging due importance of technical factors, we argue that social factors playmore vital role for successful implementation of IT systems. The study reveals that if change managers are able to capitalizethese success factors and address these problem areas in the rollout plan, they can successfully drive an efficientHI implementation process.
